Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You - What Happened to Those Words of Wisdom?

Don't tell me I don't know Jack. During the Vice Presidential Debates Joe Biden asked Paul Ryan to name one instance where lowering taxes increased job growth and increased revenue to the government? Paul Ryan named three, and the last one was; "under Jack Kennedy" and the Joe Biden stated; "Oh, so you know Jack Kennedy now do you?" Which was a funny jab, and both men laughed, as that was akin to a famous presidential debate decades the prior you see.

Okay so, I'd like to discuss something that JFK once said, a famous quote we've all heard; "Ask Not What Your Country Can Do For You, But What You Can Do For Your Country!" What happened to that spirit? It seems these days, at least under the Obama Administration, they are too busy giving away the store, without asking for anything in return. We are making people weak, by giving into their demands for free-stuff, and we are creating a socialist style nanny state which has completely depleted our national treasury and we are now deficit spending over a Trillion dollars a year, and yes, that comes with a capital "T" because that is one enormous number.

So, what does this mean for the future of this great nation, and does it really matter who becomes president? Well, yes it surely does, it matters a lot. Now then, with regards to politics, well, I'd say a landslide for Romney could be very good for our country. And since, personally I am getting bored again, so I might go back to work and come out of retirement, not sure what I'd do yet.

Maybe I should join Team Romney or if the other guy gets elected maybe I should go work there during that lame-duck presidential term to ensure that we don't hurt our small business community or allow any major economic mistakes, as they've done enough damage as it is already. Indeed, I feel the Obama Administration is missing so many very easy and obvious things we could be doing to get this country firing on all cylinders again.

We are totally blowing it with our trade flows, it's just not funny anymore, but it's our own fault, we are doing stupid things in the country right now, and I hate to use this phrase, but "It's simply unsustainable" which is an understatement. I don't want to live in a socialist country, or end up like Europe is now or did during the Second World War - see that point? History, it's a wake-up call indeed. Let's not blow this. It's time for every American to step up to the plate and give it their 110%. Please consider all this and think on it.
